SIR ki grade revised amount JO GPF account vich last year credit ho chuki ha te interest milega ya nahi.many DDO,s interest nahi de rahe.ki interest na den sabandi koi letter ha .Please clarify it.THANKS

ਪਰਗਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ, ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਐਫ਼. ਖ਼ਾਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਜਮਾ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਤੇ ਵਿਆਜ਼ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਲਾਜਮੀ ਹੈ । ਗਰੇਡ ਦੁਹਰਾਈ ਦਾ 40% ਬਕਾਇਆ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਮਿਲਿਆ । ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਟੈਕਸ ਕੱਟਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ 50% ਹਿੱਸਾ ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਐਫ਼. ਦੇ ਖ਼ਾਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਮਾਂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਤੇ ਵਿਆਜ਼ ਰਕਮ ਜਮਾਂ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਅਗਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤਰੀਕ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ । ਵਿਆਜ਼ ਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਕੋਈ ਪੱਤਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ । ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਡੀ.ਡੀ.ਓ. ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਅਪਲੋਡ ਕਰਾਓ ਜੀ ।

As I am recieving the queries about the GPF Pad, So I am sharing following steps :

Friends, GPF Pad is a software, to use this software you need to download and install it on your system. Steps involved are :

1. Download the GPF Pad software from the website : http://pmspunjab.in/gpfpad.html
2. After download extract the zipped forlder.
3. Install the GPF Pad software by double clicking on GPF Pad Setup file.
4. Follow the steps of Installation process and finish the installation.
3. Open the GPF Pad by double clicking on GPF Pad icon on the desktop.
4. Use the user id and password as given in GPF Pad Guide pdf file.
5. For next steps use GPF Pad Guide.

GPF interest rate slashed to 8.7% for 2013-14
As expected and in line with reduction of interest rate in small savings schemes, Central Govt. has cut the GPF interest rate by .1% for the F.Y. 2013-14. The new rate of interest will be 8.7% with effect from 01.04.2013.
