Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has said the transfers of the government officials would be done by the end of May so that government offices could run smoothly. He made it clear that in future officials would be transferred in the month of April which would help the officials to complete their official duties in time frame. In reply to a question regarding discrimination in matters of development, the Chief Minister made it clear that the government planned for the integrated development of the state and not only of his home constituency Lambi.
