O2 is currently running a marketing campaign in Manchester, where it intends to clean up the image of mobile broadband by converting users over to the O2 brand of mobile broadband.
In order to do this O2 is encouraging mobile broadband users to swap their current equipment for the same O2 equivalent.
This process is simple - mobile broadband users visit one of the O2 stores in the city where they are able to exchange their dongle for a new O2 version.
This where the clean up comes in as, according to O2, it will give the customer better coverage and customer service than any other mobile broadband provider.
The offer is due to end on the 30th July and is open to all pay as you go mobile broadband customers.
It is an interesting promotion, but a lot of mobile broadband users might be more interested in speed.
