Dear Readers,
          Sat Sri Akal/Namaskar/Aadab,
When there is the question of social welfare of the students studying in the schools of Punjab Government, one question which always strikes to my mind is that who is minority? Sikh or Hindu students with other communities. As far as I can understand; when there is the question of minority; at the national level Sikhs can be; but at the state of Punjab level they are in large number than Hindus, I may be wrong, please clarify the truth.
Regards.

The status is according to national level and not according to state.
A minority is minority throughout India.

Thanks YK, KANG MR KANG & PD1915 for your kind replies but my query is that if the schemes are being funded by the States then why they're not supported by the Statutes & norms of the States. I think, some sort of amendment is required for the over-all welfare of all the students. I had seen the students who are unable to submit the tuition fee even; in tears, while we can only help one or two out of our pockets. Isn't the high time to debate on this vulnerable issue, let's all do discuss this topic of vital importance. Let's not try to tag ourselves in one or other category, let's try to evaluate the whole situation in wider perspectives.

In my opinion  , the assessment of KANG MR SINGH is very close to reality. We should not judge this from state to state.
We  should know the status of minority on a broad base ie whole of India.

Only political bases. What is the relationship between MAJORITY AND MINORITY  on one hand and ......   rich and poor on another side.Benifit should be on  economically status. Thanks.
