I agree with the opinion,
There is no better way than mutual discussion & understanding to solve these types of workload related issues.
Few days back, Similar consequences and misunderstanding happened in our school about unequal distribution of workload among the teachers. As some funds/charges/works are more time consuming and difficult to accomplish than the others. Problem arises when it seems that other person's charge is easy than my charge(Natural phenomenon). At that time a suggestion was given about the concept of "Credit Hours" .
According to that every Class Period/fund/charge must be assigned credit hour according to that fund's accountability. And then divide the equal credit hours among the teachers.
(This concept may be applicable only to those schools, where staff is sufficient. Credit hour given to each fund is still a matter of discussion)
For example :
One Class period = 1 Credit hour
One Class Inchargeship = 5 Credit hour/Week
SMC Charge = 10 Credit Hour/Week
Mid Day Meal Charge = 10 Credit Hour/Week
Daily Email etc. = 10 Credit Hour/Week
RMSA Charge = 10 Credit Hour/Week
Nodal Officer Charge = 3 Credit Hour/Week
ROT Charge = 2 Credit Hour/Week
PTA Fund Charge = 3 Credit Hour
Red Cross Fund Charge = 2 Credit Hour
Sports Fund Charge = 2 Credit Hour
ScholarShip Charge = 3 Credit Hour
Dakhla Kharaj Charge = 2 Credit Hour
Guidance & Counselling Charge = 1 Credit Hour
Literacy Club Charge = 1 Credit Hour
Welfare Club Charge = 1 Credit Hour
EduSAT Lab Charge = 2 Credit Hour
PayBill Preparing Charge = 5 Credit Hours (If Clerk post is vacant)
PayBill IFMS Entry Charge = 5 Credit Hours (If Clerk post is vacant)
GPF/GIS Charge =1 Credit Hour (If Clerk post is vacant)
Similarly others .........
Then we can divide the equal credit hours :
Mr. XYZ = 30 Class Periods + Class Incargehsip + Guidance Counseling = 30+5+1 =36
Mrs. ABC = 24 Class Periods + Mid Day Meal +Literacy Club Charge = 24+10+1 =35
Similarly for others.................
But then the question arises about the credit hour weightage given to each fund ............ and still discussions are going on...............
Your suggestions are also welcomed about the credit hour weightage given to each fund
