that details will be given by your accountant. bank passbook will show you which pay and arrears are paid in the current financial year and the gpf and other contributions are not paid through bank so how can you seek those details from bank?

hence March to Feb

jo reply hun tak aae hai saria aduria hun :-
all payments received during 1st april to 31 march of next year.  it  include all  arrears (even pay of feb 2011 received in april 2011 it will be included in financial year 2011-12 ) it also include bank interest recived on FD  etc . if you got lottery of 5 lakhs it is also your income but total of these called gross income ,not texble income,taxable income i will tell you tomarrow

suppose you have 4 lakhs gross income then deduct savings ,house rent rebate (which is according to rule),payment of house loan ( which is according to rule) then balance will be taxable income

using 89(1) relief SSGill save tax upto rs 3000. You too can save. just c how to use 89(1) relief. those recruited in last 5 6 years and specially women employees  can benefit alot.
