UPSC National Defense Academy, Naval Academy exam results 2010 declared
New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)has announced the results  of National  Defense Academy and Naval Academy Exam (I) 2010 on the basis of the results of written examination  held by UPSC in August 2010 and the interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defense.

The results are available on the following website:


www.ExamResults.net


The examination was held for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of National Defense Academy for the 125th Course  and Naval Academy 10+2 (Executive Branch) for 45th Course.
The list contains names of 479 candidates . There are some common candidates in the three lists for Army/Navy, Air Force and Naval Academy. The number of vacancies as intimated by the government of India  is 335 (195 for the Army, 039 for the Navy, 066 for the Air Force and 035 for the Naval Academy (Executive Branch).

The result  of Medical Examination of candidates has not been taken into account in preparing the merit list. The candidature of all the candidates is provisional.

Marks of the candidates will be made available by UPSC after thirty days from the date of declaration of final results.

Civil Service Examination, 2011

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2011 on 12/06/2011 for recruitment of nearly 880 various posts of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and certain other Group 'A' and Group 'B' Central Services / Posts.

    * Age : Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 01/08/2011. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
    * Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
    * Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.
    * Number of Attempts: The maximum number of attempts permissible to different categories of aspirants, who are otherwise eligible will be as follows:

          o General Category : Four
          o Physical Handicapped : Seven
          o OBC : Seven
          o SC / ST : No Limit

Offline Application Form: The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 30/- only. OR published in the Employment News.

Online Application Submission : Candidates can apply Online also at http://upsconline.nic.in/ upto 21/03/2011.

Fee: Rs.100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH/Female candidates are exempted from payment (OBC candidates required to pay full fee) for the candidates applying offline. Those who are applying Online need to deposit Rs.50/- in any branch of SBI

How To Apply Offline : All Offline applications must reach the "Controller of Examination, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by courier on or before the 21/03/2011. [Candidates from far-flung areas can send application through post/speed post upto 28/03/2011]

National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) - 2011

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the NDA-II and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) , 2011 on 21/08/2011 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wing of the NDA for 128th Course and Naval Academy for 90th [10+2 Executive Branch] course commencing from June 2012. Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible,

Posts : 335 (Army-195, Navy-39, Air Force - 66, Navy Academy- 35)

Eligibility:

    Age : Born between 2nd July, 1993 and 1st January,1996.
    Educational Qualification
        for Army : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
        For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics subjects
    Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

Application Form: Candidates can choose either of Online of Offline application form. For Offline mode - The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 30/- only.
