12-year-old donates part of her prize money to CM fund

According to Asif, a large part of her prize money has been either donated or she has been planning to donate to children education.

By: Express News Service | Gandhinagar |  Published on:June 3, 2015 5:27 am Twelve-year-old Mariyam Siddiqui, who hails from Mumbai and is the winner of Bhagwad Gita Champion League organised by International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in April, donated Rs 10,000 from her prize money to the Gujarat Mukhya Mantri Swachhata Nidhi. Siddiqui, a Class 6 student, met Chief Minister Anandiben Patel on Tuesday and donated the money in the form of a demand draft. She was accompanied by her father, Asif. -
