Private schools in UP, who are charging more then 20,000 fee annually may have to stop charging the admission fee or the entire fee at one go from the students. The schools may also be asked to upload their entire fee structure and fee line online by December 31 every year.

Releasing the details about the placement offers received by the students of IIT-KGP, the institute said "The first phase of the 2017-18 placement season at IIT- Kharagpur has so far seen over 1,000 offers by both Indian and global corporates. The 1,000-mark was surpassed when Standard Chartered Bank and Wipro made 13 offers each, while Capgemini made 12 offers".

The date sheet for the first and third semester has been released by the Luckow University for B.Ed. exams. The date sheets are available on the official website of the university. The exams for the first semester will begin from 23 December and third semester the exams will be conducted on 27 and 29 December 2017.

GATE exam is scheduled to be held from February 3 to February 11 next year. The official dates are February 3, 4, 10 and 11 and the exam will be held in two sessions. For GATE 2018, IIT Guwahati is the official organizer of the exam.

The Madras HC has told the Tamil Nadu government to organize only programs in the educational institutes which are related to education. The directive was issued by the Justice N Kirubakaran who was hearing a petition from Kathirvel, who urged the court to restrain the college authorities from organizing a 45 day long exhibition in the college campus of government arts college in Tirupur.

On Monday, Former President Pranab Mukherjee awarded 'Finest Education Minister' to the Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia. manish Sisodia, who also holds the portfolio of  Deputy Chief Minister was present at the national convention on Education, The Fifth Estate, where he was awarded with the award. The convention was organized by an educational think tank.

On Monday, The Indian Air Force launched its system for conducting the recruitment exams online and from January 2018, IAF will officially switch to online mode of examinations. The registrations for the exam due in January 2018 will begin from December 15.
